Reggae Cultural Workshop Series

In collaboration with artist Sharmain Forde and with generous support from Gerry’s Pompeii, we led a series of reggae-inspired workshops with young people from The Avenue Youth Project.

Together, we explored the cultural roots and creative spirit of reggae through:
• Visits to local record shops
• Reggae history and knowledge-sharing
• Collaborative music-making sessions
• Vinyl album cover design workshops

The project offered a joyful and hands-on way for young people to connect with the legacy of reggae music while creating something of their own.

A platform to transform creative skills into engaging workshops for the wider public.
This project explores economically sustainable models for artists while using creativity as a tool to connect people across industries and backgrounds. It seeks to reimagine artistic practice as both a shared experience and a means of community building.

We’ve transformed and co-curated a diverse range of workshops, including:
– Blindfolded dance movement
– Mosaic making
– Engine dyno-technics
– Introduction to canal life
– Audio storytelling
– Acting workshops for non-actors
- and many more...

Alongside these, we’ve curated several large-scale community events in collaboration with creatives from a wide range of disciplines, creating spaces where artistic practice, knowledge exchange, and collective joy intersect.
