Only changes in the form of acquiring or losing a property can constitute events. Philosopher Jaegwon Kim theorised events  as [x,P,t], x as object, P as property and t as time or temporal interval.

The object(s) itself exists as the protagonist in this atmosphere. What is important is no longer the experience that the audience would receive, but the subtle changes that the object itself has received from the audience which constitute an event. The whole installation operates like a fountain, with water flowing continuously from the bottom to the top. An inconspicuous candle is placed on one side of the metal stand while the other-side has a hanging ceramic object which allows audience to grab it and move around . The audience moves the position of the candle within a controllable range to melt the hanging wax tube. However, each change is subtle. The candle will only be lit once every time the work is exhibited, and the subtle flames may be extinguished by the splashing water at any time. Even if you accidentally burned a hole in the wax pipe, the flame will be instantly extinguished by the water flowing down from the hole. Every time the participation is limited and small. After the candle is extinguished, it is just an object that exists in the space.

Objects becomes Event
Event stays as object
